Have you heard of the New York Sate Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, NY?
It’s the largest sheep and wool festival in the country, full of wooly fun activities for adults and children! Here’s the link to the festival: NYS Sheep and Wool Festival which will take place on October 19th and 20th.
I will be there both days for storytimes and booksigning.
If you are planning to attend the festival, then you have a chance to win a signed copy of Baa Baa Black Sheep!
In this book, animals ask the sheep for things she can’t give them: Kittens ask for milk, a horse asks for hay, a pig asks for slop.
To have a chance to win, you (or your little one(s) have two choices:
1- On a piece of paper, write: “Baa baa black sheep have you any______________? Fill in the blank and tell what animal is asking. Feel free to write a rhyme, if you’d like!
2- Draw a picture of a sheep wearing a wooly hat and scarf.
Come to the Merritt Books booth in Building B during the hours below to meet me and submit your entry. Include your name, mailing address, phone or e-mail and to whom you would like the book inscribed.
I will be there on Saturday, October 19, 2013- from 9-12:30 and on Sunday, October 10, 2013 from 10-4
